Olympic Torch
The Olympic Torch arrived in Bishop Auckland on the 17th June 2012. It started its journey on the 19th May 2012 at Land’s End and finished up at the Olympic Stadium on the 27th July 2012 having travelled about 8000 miles and about 8000 people carrying the torch.
