Olivia’s Christening

I was able to step in as a christening photographer at short notice for Olivia’s mum and dad who had been let down by another photographer.  Olivia’s christening started with a wet day, it was my first photography event in the wet but luckily as it was a Christening there wouldn’t be much outside photography like weddings usually do.  I dashed into the church and was met with a gorgeous interior.  It was my first time in St Andrew’s, South Church and I could see why it is such a popular choice of church.  It has a grand feel and lovely architecture.

Olivia was dressed in a lovely ivory dress and head band.  I was there in plenty of time so captured lots of photos of guests arriving.

The service went smoothly, there was plenty of time for photos and smiles.  We had family photos and photos of the godparents.

After the church service, we went to Tindale WMC for the reception.  I did the usual walking around tables and requesting photos so that everyone can be remembered on the day when Olivia’s parents look back on the day.
