Simran & Kathryn’s Durham Wedding In The Heart of Durham City

Simran and Kathryn chose to get married at Durham Register Office at The Story, followed by a relaxed walk through Durham City for their wedding photos. With Durham Castle and Cathedral providing the backdrop, we didn’t have to go far to find some fantastic locations for their portraits, making the most of everything the city has to offer.

After spending some time by the riverside and around the cathedral, we finished the afternoon with afternoon tea at The Curious Mr Fox – a lovely way to celebrate becoming newlyweds. It was a pleasure to capture their day, from the ceremony through to the final few photographs, and this gallery is a little look back at a relaxed and intimate wedding in the heart of Durham.
